After losing our beloved 9 year-old Doberman, Lexie, in July of 2012, I was afraid it might be too soon to bring home a new Dobe pup, but now that Margot has come into our lives and stolen our hearts, it feels more like she arrived just in time.

"Sit" and "Lie Down"
Margot felt like showing off for you guys a little this morning. Well, sort of. She was a bit too excited about getting her treats, so she didn't stay in the lying down position for very long. Haha!
Have you heard about the chicken jerky treats from China? Not limited to one brand. But they've been killing dogs. So steer clear of Chinese dog treats and food!! Some lady fed her dogs TWO and her dog died the next day! Thought I'd let you know if you didn't already see the news articles.
Yeah I got quite the scare when I saw the article about the brand of treats I fed my dogs, killing people's dogs. Lucky it wasn't the chicken jerky, but we still threw them out. We're pretty much refusing to get anything pet related from china now. o.o
She is so adorable. You're a lucky lady. :P
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, and I agree. I'm pretty lucky to have found such a wonderful little pup. :)

ReplyDeleteI hadn't heard, but thank you for posting this. I don't feed Margot or Sam any jerky-type treats, and you've made me really glad that I don't!
